The Cisco C9350 Series Smart Switches support the following field-replaceable uplink network modules:
- C9350-NM-2C: Two 40 GE/100 GE slots with a QSFP28 connector in each slot.
- C9350-NM-4C: Four 40 GE/100 GE slots with a QSFP28 connector in each slot.
- C9350-NM-8Y: Eight 1/10/25 GE or four 50 GE slots with an SFP56 port in each slot.
These network modules are hot-swappable and designed to match bandwidth and connectivity needs. The base switch does not include an uplink module, so you select the required module when purchasing the switch. The modules support uplink speeds of 1G, 10G, 25G, 40G, 50G, and 100G.
Supported network modules vary by switch model, with the C9350-NM-2C and C9350-NM-8Y supported on a wide range of C9350 models, and the C9350-NM-4C supported on specific models like C9350-48HX and C9350-48TX.
All network modules generate logs when inserted or removed and are designed for easy replacement without interrupting switch operation.
