The Cisco Firepower 4100 Series is a family of high-performance, modular
next-generation firewall (NGFW) appliances designed for enterprise data centers, service providers,
and large campus environments. These platforms deliver advanced threat protection, deep traffic
inspection, and scalable performance while maintaining a compact 1RU footprint.
The series includes four models: FPR-4112, FPR-4115, FPR-4125, and FPR-4145,
each offering different throughput and scalability options.
Performance and Models
FPR-4112: NGFW throughput up to 19 Gbps, IPS 19 Gbps, IPSec VPN 8.5 Gbps, TLS decryption 4.5 Gbps.
FPR-4115: NGFW throughput up to 33 Gbps, IPS 33 Gbps, IPSec VPN 12.5 Gbps, TLS decryption 6.5 Gbps.
FPR-4125: NGFW throughput up to 45 Gbps, IPS 45 Gbps, IPSec VPN 19 Gbps, TLS decryption 8.5 Gbps.

The Firepower 4100 Series supports clustering, multi-instance deployments, and load balancing
to ensure high availability and operational flexibility. Centralized management is provided through
Cisco Secure Firewall Management Center, with optional integration into
Cisco SecureX for unified security visibility and automation.
