The Cisco C8650-G2 is a high-performance secure router designed for large-scale enterprise, data centre and colocation environments. Part of the Cisco 8600 Series Secure Routers, it provides high-density connectivity, advanced routing, high-capacity VPN aggregation and secure interconnection between data centres and cloud environments.
Powered by Cisco's third-generation QuantumFlow Processor ASIC technology, the C8650-G2 combines high-speed networking with hardware-accelerated encryption and deep packet inspection. Its architecture is designed to handle demanding data-intensive applications, large-scale VPN deployments and multi-100GE connectivity while maintaining strong security and scalability.
The C8650-G2 provides the scale required for demanding network environments, supporting large routing tables, extensive access-control policies and high-density VPN aggregation.
