The Cisco SFP-10G-SR-I= is a multirate 10 Gigabit Ethernet SFP+ transceiver designed for reliable high-speed connectivity in environments requiring an industrial operating temperature range. It supports 10GBASE-SR, 10GBASE-SW and OTU2/OTU2e applications, making it suitable for a range of enterprise, industrial and optical networking deployments.
Using 850 nm multimode fibre (MMF), the SFP-10G-SR-I= provides connectivity over distances of up to 300 metres on OM3 fibre and up to 400 metres on OM4 fibre. It also supports CPRI data-rate options 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 7a and 8, providing additional flexibility for specialised infrastructure.
The SFP-10G-SR-I= combines the compact SFP+ form factor with multirate support, allowing network administrators to deploy high-bandwidth optical connections without replacing the host switch or network interface.
