Cisco Firepower 3100

The Cisco Secure Firewall 3100 Series is a family of mid-range, threat-focused security appliances built for modern enterprise environments. Designed to support hybrid work and Zero Trust security architectures, the platform delivers high-performance firewalling, advanced threat inspection, and scalable connectivity while maintaining strong return on investment. These appliances provide consistent performance even when advanced security services such as application visibility and control (AVC), intrusion prevention (IPS), and encrypted traffic inspection are enabled. The platform supports clustering for scalability and resilience and can run either ASA or Firewall Threat Defense (FTD) software. Deployment options include both firewall and dedicated IPS modes, with support for stacked VLANs (Q-in-Q) using up to two 802.1Q headers.
