Network Modules
The Firepower 4100 features two network module slots, offering both optical and electrical network interfaces. These optional and removable I/O modules can be used to add more ports or provide various interface types (1/10/40 Gb). The Firepower network modules are designed to easily plug into the front panel of the chassis.
The FPR4K-NM-4X40G is a single-wide module that supports hot swapping. The four ports are numbered left to right.
