The latest Cisco 400-Gigabit cloud-scale ASICs support Segment Routing over IPv6 (SRv6) and enhanced streaming telemetry.

Designed as a Clos fabric, the Cisco Nexus 9500 platform offers direct interconnections between N9K-X9736C-FX and other line cards and rear-mounted fabric modules. Load balancing optimally distributes traffic across fabric modules, enhancing system reliability and redundancy. Even in the event of a fabric module loss, the switch continues to operate at reduced capacity, thanks to the remaining fabric modules providing switching capacity to the line cards.
