The Cisco C-NIM-WAN-2X is a high-performance Network Interface Module (NIM) designed to expand the WAN connectivity of compatible Cisco 8200 and 8300 Series Secure Routers. It provides two flexible 1/10 Gigabit Ethernet SFP/SFP+ WAN ports, allowing organisations to add high-speed fibre connectivity while retaining the flexibility to operate at either 1Gbps or 10Gbps.
Designed for modern enterprise WAN and SD-WAN deployments, the C-NIM-WAN-2X integrates directly with the security, routing and SD-WAN capabilities of the Cisco 8000 Series Secure Router platform. Its compact modular design makes it suitable for increasing WAN capacity, supporting redundant connections or adapting router configurations as network requirements evolve.
